DHAKA, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has lowered its prediction for Bangladesh's economic growth for the current 2025-26 financial year (July 2025-June 2026) to 4.7 percent.
In an update to its report released this week, the Manila-based lender reduced the forecast from 5.0 percent it made in September.
The lower forecast is due to some challenges, such as weaker exports and political uncertainties related to elections due next February. ■
