LONDON, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- Manchester City ended a difficult week that saw defeats to Manchester United and Bodo/Glint with a relatively straightforward 2-0 home win over bottom club Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, moving to within four points of Premier League leader Arsenal.

Pep Guardiola decided to rest Erling Haaland and was rewarded when his replacement Omar Marmoush put his side ahead after six minutes, with recent signing Antoine Semenyo doubling the lead on the stroke of halftime.
