LONDON, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- Manchester City ended a difficult week that saw defeats to Manchester United and Bodo/Glint with a relatively straightforward 2-0 home win over bottom club Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, moving to within four points of Premier League leader Arsenal.

Pep Guardiola decided to rest Erling Haaland and was rewarded when his replacement Omar Marmoush put his side ahead after six minutes, with recent signing Antoine Semenyo doubling the lead on the stroke of halftime.

Amine Adli hit a stoppage-time winner as Bournemouth beat 3-2 at home after the visiting side had fought back from 2-0 down. Evanilson put Bournemouth ahead after Liverpool failed to clear, and Alex Jimenez slipped the ball through Alisson's legs to make it 2-0 in the 34th minute.

Virgil van Dijk headed Liverpool back into the game on the verge of halftime, and Dominik Szoboszlai's free kick looked as if it would extend Liverpool's unbeaten run to 14 matches before Adli scrambled home in the dying seconds.

Cristian Romero scored a 90th-minute equalizer to give Tottenham a 2-2 draw away to Burnley and perhaps ease the pressure on coach Thomas Frank, while breaking the home side's hearts after they had seemed on course for a vital win.

Micky van de Ven put Tottenham ahead in the 38th minute, but Axel Tuanzebe equalized in the 45th minute and Lyle Foster looked to have earned Burnley three points before Romero's late saving header.

Harry Wilson scored a late winner as Fulham came from behind to win 2-1 at home over Brighton. Yasin Ayari had put Brighton ahead, before Samuel Chukwueze equalized in the 72nd minute to set up the Welsh international's grandstand finish.

West Ham seems to have turned a corner with a 3-1 home win over Sunderland after first half goals from Crysencio Summerville, Jarrod Bowen and Mateus Fernandez put them in an unassailable position, with Brian Brobbey's second-half effort a mere consolation for the visitors.
