The Global Leaders’ Meeting on Women is underway in Beijing from October 13 to 14, garnering widespread global attention.

"The Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, adopted 30 years ago at the United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women, have provided a roadmap for all countries. We appreciate China for initiating and consistently advancing relevant initiatives," said Amal Ammar, president of Egypt's National Council for Women, in an exclusive interview with Xinhua ahead of the meeting.

She noted that China's achievements in women's causes serve as a model, expressing anticipation that "China's solutions" will help address the risks and challenges facing global women's causes.
